8 months agoI've been just about everywhere in Logan, and the best steak in town is hands down @ The Max Bar and Grill . Each steak is cooked to perfection—so much so that adding steak sauce feels like a crime. Every Monday, you can find me playing trivia while waiting for my food and enjoying free pool all night.

9 months agoWe were visiting family who live in the area and wanted to play pool. Lucky us, it was free pool on Thursdays. Didn't try food, but the lady working was really nice. Returned on Friday night and they were playing all the club hits plus karaoke, everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves. Will be back when back in Ohio.

9 months agoPopped in from out of town and was so pleasantly surprised. The DJ was killing it with the throwback rap/pop hits. Robby, the bartender, was literally pop locking and dropping it. I have never seen moves so sick. All the locals were soooo friendly and we were all BFFs by closing time. Also, barely spent any money even though I was buying because the drinks were so well priced. This will be a mandatory stop any time I am in Logan County.

11 months agoSherry was an incredibly welcoming bartender! The clientele was a hoot, and I just had a most wonderful time here. I feel like I made so many friends during my afternoon visit.

a year agoStayed at the Rusty Lofts in downtown Logan for a little spring break trip and noticed on The Max's sign, as we passed by, that they had karaoke that night. I stopped in the place that afternoon to ask about it and Rob and Sherri(sp?) both were very helpful & accomodating. Went to The Max that evening with my two boys for dinner, and the food was amazing!! Sherri was our server and was so friendly and attentive the whole time we were there. All the other patrons in the place were so cool as well. After dinner the karaoke started and Cowboy the DJ was awesome!! If we ever make it back to Logan we will definitely be hitting up The Max again for sure...highly recommend this place!! -Rusty

a year agoGood local neighborhood bar. The owner Rob and his wife are real nice people. Some nights I'd the week they have free pool. Monday night for steak night has Logans best steak and Wing Night on Wednesday is a great deal.

3 years agoDive bar with food. 50-cent pool tables! Curly fries were fantastic hybrid fries/Saratoga chips! Fried cheese 3 different ways., need I say more!
